International Students’ Club, and Myanmar Community organized an event to celebrate “Thingyan” which is called Myanmar new year. The event is a regional event, and specially Thailand (Songkran), Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka are the countries which is officially declined 13, 14th April as official holidays to celebrate the event.
International Students celebrated the event, specially Myanmar community of Siam University (more than 30 students participated) brighten this event with several performances, and with traditional foods to the participants. Dr.Pornchai Mongkhonvanit (President of Siam University) opened the event. Faculties of the college participated as well, and the event was from 13.30 – 14.30. After 14.30 , students enjoyed the time by performing water games.
