Students and faculties from International College, Siam University visited Kanchanaburi province on 19th June, 2022. The trip was fully managed by the Student Club, and mentors from the college. The purpose of this trip was to bring all the students back into active stage after Covid-19, as an exposure visit for foreign students and as a part of CSR Class.
As our CSR activities for 2021-2022, donation was made to Moo Baan Dek (Children’s Village School) in Kanchanaburi. Monetary and other essential goods were donated. Dr.Pornchai Mongkhonvanit, the president of Siam University was also participated in this event and donated to the school. Students, and faculties provided private donations, as well as students club managed to provide many donation items with the help of monetary support from students and faculties. Also, some donations were provided by external donors (from Bangladesh which was provided by Brgd. Gen (Rtd. Saif Ur Rahman).
Srinagarind Dam, Bridge on the River Kwai and Kanchanaburi War Cemetery were the other places visited by students and faculties.
